Constructed for Weston Theatre Company's production of Hair designed by Jesscia Crawford. As the cutter/draper I started the project by draping muslin of a form that matched the performers measurements. Once the muslin was draped design lines were drawn/cut/pinned. I then took the muslin off the form and traced the pieces to make a flat pattern for the blouse.  Then I created a mock-up out of some scrap fabric that was fit on to the performer. After the hems were marked and the few alterations were made to the pattern, the project was handed off to the stitcher, Jasmine Armstrong, to finish the blouse.
