Inspired by Michael Jackson's red leather Thriller jacket, this jacket was made for Missouri State University's production of Heathers the Musical in 2017. I acted as both designer and cutter/draper for this piece. Starting with a basic body block pattern, then altering that pattern to get desired style and fit. The fabric was a cotton poly blend with velvet trimming and metal buttons.
