AMAL
The costumes for this dance piece were inspired by the work of artist Iris Lina Viktor. The choreographer was attracted to this artist's color palette and textures. In addition, the modern dance piece was to allude to the life/struggles of women. when designing I pulled inspiration from Viktor's colors and textures, as well as shapes and cuts of fabric that would combine power and femininity.

Last Dance, First Dance
As the senior recital piece this piece was about remembering the good moments in college while also moving forward. Inspiration for the color palette of this piece came from colored poloids. Creating a sense of nostalgia with muted earth tones, and clothing that were non-descript, with simple patterns and no logos. I wanted the costumes to evoke a sense of timelessness that poloids capture in those good college moments.
