Made for Gulfshore Playhouse's 2019 production of It's a Wonderful Life a Radio Play this silk blouse was one of my first projects at GP. Patterned by Renee Baker, I acted as the cutter and stitcher. We started with a muslin mock-up, then made another mock-up with a lighter silk like fabric for a first fitting. After the fitting and altering the patterned as needed I cut out the fashion fabric by nesting the patterned pieces to produce on blouse, we even had enough to make another identical blouse. These blouse were made from silk and jeweled shank buttons.
