The One Act Play That Goes Wrong

Produced as a student driven showcase, The One Act Play That Goes Wrong is about a group of enthusiastic troupe of community theatre performers who try to put their best foot forward when their performance of a murder mystery play goes awry. Since this was a play within a play, I wanted the costumes to reflect campiness of the characters that were being portrayed. It was a very physical performance, so it was important to have the input of each performer and to make sure they felt comfortable and safe in their costumes. Each of the costume was meant to highlight the differences in characters and accomplished just that on a minimal budget.
